Lavichelle was born from a singular, personal mission: my mom.

For decades, I witnessed her navigate the systemic complexities of Type 2 Diabetes, specifically the skin manifestions of Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy—persistent sensory distress: nerve pain, the feeling of pins and needles, severe dryness, and hyperpigmentation.

Driven to soothe her discomfort, I began researching the intersection of botanical science and skin manifestions linked to systemic health and neurological conditions. We discovered that the same potent elements used to restore internal well-being possess a biological intelligence capable of soothing the peripheral nervous system. What began as a daughter’s search for a solution evolved into a refined method of neurocosmetic crafting.

Within three months, the shift was visible and felt; her skin had moved from a state of reactivity to one of restoration—a change noted by her healthcare provider. Today, my mother has reclaimed her health and her life.

Shea butter

Shea butter is a dense emollient that provides an intensive moisture seal for the skin's barrier. It deeply hydrates the upper layers of the epidermis, filling gaps between skin cells to prevent moisture loss and soften texture. Rich in vitamins A and E, which facilitate surface repair, and contains essential fatty acids that reinforce the skin’s natural defenses against environmental irritants.

Jojoba oil

Jojoba oil is a liquid wax ester that closely mimics the molecular structure of the skin’s natural sebum. This biological compatibility allows it to absorb efficiently into the epidermis, penetrating the surface layers to regulate moisture without clogging pores. Once absorbed, it delivers a concentrated dose of vitamin E and B-complex vitamins to support barrier repair and soothe reactive skin. Additionally, its natural zinc and copper content provides essential mineral support to protect the skin’s surface from environmental stressors and maintain a balanced, clear complexion.

Ginger

Topically, ginger bypasses the stratum corneum to reach the dermal-nerve junctions and delivers a concentrated complex of gingerols, shogaols, and vitamin B6, alongside essential minerals like magnesium and potassium. These bioactives desensitize TRPV1 nerve receptors and inhibit pro-inflammatory cytokines, silencing the burning and tingling sensations associated with neural disturbance while stimulating restorative microcirculation.

Candelilla wax

Candelilla wax is a plant-derived functional lipid that provides a breathable, protective film over the skin’s surface. As a non-comedogenic vegan alternative to beeswax, it sits primarily on the stratum corneum (the outermost layer of the epidermis) to lock in moisture and shield the skin from external pollutants. It is rich in natural hydrocarbons and fatty acids, which contribute to a smooth, uniform skin texture. This ingredient is essential for maintaining the formula's structural integrity while ensuring a seamless, long-lasting moisture barrier that calms sensitivity.
